a) Sorting

Sorting means arranging the records in a particular order, ascending or descending.

b) Filtering

Filter is used to review and analyze information in the database table

1.  What is the use of toggle filter option?

Toggle filter is used to cancel the applied filter and display all records.

 2. What do you mean by relationship window?

Relationship window is a special database view in which we can create relationships between tables.

 3. Why do you mean by form?

A form is a view of one or more tables which is used to enter, edit and display data.

 4. What is the use of split form?

Split form is used to show the form in two parts when the upper part shows the form and the lower part shows the datasheet for the table.

1. What is the use of Find and Replace feature in MS-Access?

Find allows to quickly search data in tables, queries and forms for specific database tasks while Replace is used to replace the searched data with some other data.

 2. What do you mean by filtering data by selection and filtering data by form?

Filtering data by selection is used to display only those records that contain exactly the same data.

Filtering data by form enables us to filter by multiple fields and specify criteria for as many fields required.
